This Is A Fair Question

RE: This Is A Fair Question
There are no contradictions in the bible. The bible says that all Scripture is God-breathed. As one who can translate the Greek, all the writers had their own style. The Greek of Mark is rough and simplistic. IOW's, the most uneducated. The writer of Hebrews was a genius. Paul is very practical. Peter is very colorful.
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.

And that sort of fallacious circular logic does not bother you? Rhetorical question, no need to answer. Of course not, or else you wouldn't be a believer.

"The Bible is true because god says it is. Where does god say the Bible is true? In the Bible. And why do I believe the Bible? Because it says it is true in the Bible. And how do I know the Bible is true? Because it says it is 'God-breathed' in the Bible."

Maybe you should have used Puni wale as your username on this site instead of Haipule.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Simon, Simon, Simon:

I made two separate statements you turned into "circular reasoning". It's my fault. It wasn't what I meant. I'm sorry. I ain't no "believer" either. I trust God. I do not "believe". That's a bad translation. God NEVER asked me to believe in Him. He only asked me to trust Him. And this I have done which resulted in one of the most adventurous and successful lives I have ever seen!

My life has been so off the charts, I'm quite sure you would rather read about then live through it. But man am I having fun!

Oh but, that's just anecdotal. I, graduated from California public high school, in Surf City USA, a stupid surfer whom never rubbed two nickels together and called it a dime. Yet, I wish I had a dime for every dime I have! I also did not graduate from college--fuck school!

I gots my God-Father and I'm His little favorite! Man do we have some fun! I don't believe in the ridiculous idea of "grace" either. I'm special and I'm not talking short bus!

I am not puni wela but you have been fed some ho'opuni wela!

Am I a lifetime of genius, pure luck or, maybe just blessed as promised?! You can call me a genius if you want too!

My Mum always told me that if I can't say anything nice about someone, I shouldn't say anything at all.

Bye, then.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Belief is the psychological state in which one accepts a premise or proposition as being true. If you accept the proposition that "God" exists, you do believe. This is a separate issue on whether you "trust" or not.

Yeah, I know plenty of people who have turned their lives around without 'Jesus'.

I also graduated from the LAUSD, I've been surfing my entire life, still live in LA, still surf several times a week, didn't graduate college, still have a great career in IT as a network engineer. No magic prayers or gods required.

Awesome!

Any safaris? I started doing Baja to Washington State very young with my brothers and friends. Did 4mos on Bali and 7 in OZ by the time I was 19. I have since been all over the world. I also lived 4yrs on the North Shore of Maui surfing in my backyard which is beyond dreams and yes, God was required!

Costa Rica 3 times, twice before it became a zoo.
Kauai (the only Hawaiian island I've surfed) probably about 12 times (my brother-in-law's parents used to live there, so I always had a place to stay).
Mexico too many times to remember.
El Salvador once ( a country full of Rincons).
Mentawai once.
Maldives once.
Northern California a bunch of times.
Puerto Rico once.

That's about it.
