Have you any evidence that it is anything other than in your own mind ? It's not a claim atheists make it's a default stance when people say they believe in invisible untestable things. Just like when people see ghosts, flying pigs, unicorns, and believe in a multitude of other gods.

What would your default position be if someone said they had invisible, unprovable unicorns in their back garden, but that you couldn't prove they were just in his mind, and you hadn't provided a shred of evidence. ? You can apply that kind of stupidity to anything.

Except Jesus did exactly all that you are asking for and then some. So your real complaint is that he does not come to each generation and do it again. I guess he thought that sending the Holy Spirit to prompt people into seeking out God and when they do, provide personal access to the God of the universe was a better solution for all time. The fact is that people like yourself are convinced that God does not exists (not simply agnostic--which is all you have justification for) and that belief get's in the way, well, that's on you now isn't it.

He's referencing his favorite book of fairy tales again. And he's completely incapable of comprehending that some people have prayed day and night for decades to "receive" the "holy spirit" and nothing at all happened.  He's completely incapable of comprehending that other people believe in different deities.  HIS is the only way that's right, HIS interpretation is the only one that's right, etc., yadda yadda yadda. How many thousands of times have we had someone get outraged because we don't consider their ridiculous book and warm fuzzy voices in their head to be proof that their sky daddy exists?
