WOW!!! it's really cold there, how do you deal with it?
anyway warm hugs!!!
How do I deal with it? Grumblingly, with a side order of profanity.
My main strategy is to wear a long hooded coat that blocks most of the wind, along with the usual boots, hat, mittens and scarf. On a windless day it's a lot more bearable. I take the bus to work because parking is ridiculously expensive, so I do have to walk about a block and a half to get to and from the bus stops. The rest of the time I take the car.
Current temperature as of 10 p.m. Sunday evening is -24C, wind from the northwest at 19 km/h; wind chill -36. Overnight forecast is for -30C (yipe!) with lighter winds. Monday morning is going to be nasty because the wind will be coming from the south (which means it'll be hitting me in the face as I'm walking to the bus).
Fortunately it's warming up on Tuesday.
Oh, and thanks for the warm hugs!

The movie? I saw it about 2 months ago.
Yeah the movie, It's a bit far fetched IMO. How could Lois Lane have not recognised Superman as Clark Kent just because of a pair of glasses? The rest of it was perfectly reasonable.

I found it far fetched that he could defeat General Zodd. Zodd probably had plenty of combat experience where Superman at that time, had none.
edit: Now that I remember he put him in a headlock or something and broken his neck at the end. Still, It seems unlikely. Superman would have no skill.

When you say you watched Superman, do you mean the 1970's movie?

I love the part where the dam breaks open and floods everywhere, the special effects are really funny. I might watch Superman II later, can't remember what happens in that one.
