Some, yes. but I think it was far better in the movies.
I'm 58 so I was a big fan of the original when that's all there was. Still, I'm a movies + 24th century fan today. McCoy could be an absolute backward-ass shit in the original series. He was much-improved in the movies IMO.
Some of the episodes age better than others. Off the top of my head, Balance of Terror, The Corbomite Maneuver and City on the Edge of Forever are every bit as good today as they were back then. But then there are so many episodes where McCoy's prejudices are on display or even worse, incredibly antiquated attitudes toward women. One that makes me just cringe is the sight of Don Juan on the shore leave planet dragging off Yeoman Barrows who was not a small woman. All she did was desperately cry for help. Even Deanna Troi would have kicked him in the balls to say nothing of what Yar, Kira or Dax would have done.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Denise Crosby' kind of a tragedy her character on paper seemed really interesting. But as ever with characters. Ricky would not let her make the character her own . This is why Deanna Troi never got any real character development . Hell it took a screaming match between Avery and Rick to free DS9's cast from his constant intrusion on their acting .

Yes, there are some truly great episodes of TOS, I've never denied that.
And, of course, much of the treatment of the women was how things were expected in those days. Women were mostly for decoration and for the captain, especially, to seduce.
The same thing happened in the first season of TNG. Denise Crosby and Gates McFadden both left after the first season because they didn't think their characters were being taken seriously. And Troi was, of course, the eye candy that stood in the background and occasionally said something weak.

Yeah, I heard that he REALLY hated Avery, which is part of the reason Sisko had such a crappy ending.

Hell one time he Rick went into racist tirade at Avery . Only to have Gene Roddenberry's wife walk in . And she apparently yelled at Rick then stormed out .

Despite the fact that Lwaxana Troi truly was a waste of ink, Majel was someone you didn't go up against too often.
And, seriously, racism in 'Trek? You'd think the show runner would know better.
I was a member of ST.com when Enterprise was cancelled. You should have seen the amount of venom against Berman and Braga there.

Strangely, I quite liked Denise Crosby's half Romulan character.
I actually like Skin of Evil. It was the first TNG episode that I ever watched... maybe that's why. And I was genuinely surprised when Tasha died. My old roommate would agree with you. He hated that episode.
I loved that whole story arc with Sela, including "Yesterday's Enterprise." It was a neat way to bring Crosby back into the fold without seeming too cheap or gimmicky.
