For me, it's the stegosaurus. Those backplates are awesome.

RE: Favorite Dinosaur
I was interested enough in dinosaurs to learn what we were taught in school.  Fossils from that age are pretty cool.  I was more interested in how scientists found and identified the fossils.  But if I was to pick a favorite it would be this one:

RE: Favorite Dinosaur
I never paid enough attention to dinosaurs to have a favorite.

I have always been more fond of sea creatures than other animals, so these dinosaurs look pretty cool:

You’ve been watching too much Jurassic park.

In any case Liopleuodon was not a dinosaur.

That’s total bullshit.     We actually know of no dinosaurs, none, zero, that plausibly had a marine life style.   None except the spinosaurids even plausibly had mainly aquatic life style.    Not one of the big marine reptiles of Mesozoic were closely related to the dinosaur clad.

RE: Favorite Dinosaur
Bit like dimetrodon, which was -my- favorite dinosaur as a kid (we had lizards with sails and penny necks and it was just so easy to work them in with my little tanks and army men). Then one day you learn it isn't a dino at all and that blows your mind too.
