Perhaps. Where I was going with that is that since not as many women watch porn as much, perhaps the men don't feel as much like they have to measure up to what the woman is seeing.

Why is the advertising industry a multi billion £market? Because crass people fall for the sales pitch every time.

Religion is what does harm to women.  I mean it's pretty clear that we're supposed to be property.  Meanwhile in the porn industry, many more women are becoming directors.  The porn industry used to be way worse to women, but it's made major strides.

How on earth is this more a woman's issue if, as you say, the majority of porn consumers are male? I'm puzzled why your poll question zeros in on the supposed deleterious effects of porn on women when men are equally part of the equation too. Perhaps you feel that women's sexuality - and not men's - needs to be monitored and watched over but not everyone feels that way.

I never said a word about women's sexuality "being monitored or watched over." Re-read everything ive said in the thread. My concern has 0 to do with that, and everything to do with how porn can condition men to treat/view women as objects, and how it can make women feel insecure about themselves.
