In engineering, one primarily receives what relevant fields of science has found.  Really not much about the deeper underpinning of the scientific method and how science is actually done, especially not developments in the philosophy of science, especially not the process of discovery of things that is fundamental to understanding but not immediately susceptible to application by engineering is needed to pass all the tests, include the specifically science classes required in the typical curriculum.

If your exposure to science is having received relevemt laws and relations it has discovered in the course of engineering study, then it is perhaps not too surprising you could think what you received from your bible obsession and those of like obsession is much the same as science.

As for the principle of eugenics by elimination of the disabled. That's an ancient practice that was written about by the Greeks as deformity or mental incapacity was highly undesirable . Hitler himself praised the ancient Spartans for their racialist and eugenic principles .

Right.   It is science. How do you know what science is?   Through having received some of what it has found much like your having received the words of “god”?
