I agree, the so-called Social Democracies aren't even really socialist, since they are just republics (not necessarily constitutional, depends on their history) that have capitalism with regulation and a social safety net. Much more like us than the Soviets or Maoists.

The prophecies in the Book of Daniel are astounding explaining entire kingdoms that will come into power in a symbolic way but in a way that is also explained in the same book.  This occurred way in advance of the actual occurrences.  The Bible was written by 40 people over 3500 year time frame and there are many accurate prophecies over hundreds of years.  Remember time travel is possible in this universe and I think that is because God can see all of time as He transcends time.

True democracies are also majority rule.  We have a constitutional republic which protects specified rights as stated in the Constitution.
