Too be fair he never said every war America fought was for nothing only that America specializes in sending troops to die in war that are really for nothing .

Well considering how adverse Min is to Nazi's i can't imagine WW2 would be one he's against

The US government has always considered Mexicans to be white people.

Yeah, there are hill billies and then there are cotton pickers. Hillbillies are on this side of the wall and vote the right way, the cotton pickers ought to stay on the other side because they can vote the wrong way.

You never heard of WWII, I take it.

Wait till the end of trump’s term, and see then whether for all of what the US did during WWII, the world will be more similar to before WWII or after WWII.

We are so habituated to thinking we won a great victory in WWII that we are oblivious to the fact that we are losing WWII now in a larger sense, 73 years after accepting the enemy’s unconditional surrender.

Quote: That's very true but it applies to troops in all countries.

Yeah but how many countries actually do it?  Most wars now are civil wars and we just can't seem to keep our noses out of every ones business.  We are professional interlopers.

Sure they do.  They made them citizens after the Mexican War and they never made them slaves.

What was American involvement in WWII really about?  We got pissed because the Japanese did a sneak attack on Pearl Harbor.  The Zionists had been pushing us to attack Germany for decades so when Germany declared war on us that sealed the deal.  We sure as hell weren't fighting for human rights.

Surely you have heard of him?  The republicunts' problem today is that they have no conception of "justice" but law is something to be purchased with campaign contributions.

Yeah, we made all 16 Mexicans in the densely populated territories of texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California american citizens.

American involvement in the war was about realigning the world away from competing European imperialist colonial empires into collections of independent nations bound through multilateral alliances and multilateral international institutions to a world order in which America occupies a previleged position at the center in both defense and economic arenas.

We are in the process of throwing that away and returning to 1928.

The difference is in 1928, America had perhaps 40% of the total population and potential of the peer or near peers in the industrialized world.    Since 1928 much of the world that wasn’t industrialized and existed under colonial and semi-colonial subjugation are not indistrilaized or well on the way towards being industrialized.   So In 2018 America has perhaps 10-15% of the population of the peer or net peers in the industrialized world.

I don’t think it is unfair to say it’s hard to find another country in history that so flippantly threw away accumulated advantages of 72 years of hegemonic power and voluntarily consign itself to a much worse position relative to the rest of the world than it had occupied at the outset, and to add mockery to buffoonery, did this under the pretext of making itself great again.

Gee, your agenda is dangling out there like a big ole pee-pee.

In the early days of WWII we were fighting for our lives as we suddenly learned that we were woefully unprepared for what was to come.  We got very self-righteous later on when it became apparent that the fascists would lose.  And Roosevelt was never a big fan of Churchill reestablishing his precious empire on the backs of American soldiers.

OP: That the military exposes it troops to toxic materials is not news.: https://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/

That the public is also exposed and the data suppressed is the news.
