There was virtually no middle class and very little regulation when the stock market crashed and caused the great depression. REAGAN undid all the work FDR set up with the New Deal and that undoing of financial regulations, anti monopoly and union busting has simply set up the billionaire class to USE YOU YOU DUMBASS. Those policies also lead to Bush's housing'bank/car crash. 

The economy doing good now is ARTIFICIAL and still based on DEBT caused by billionaire tax breaks they do not need. 


Our 1% at the top love socialism, they socialize the profits in the private sector when they win, and socialize the losses on YOU YOU DUMBASS when they lose. That is what a "bailout" is.

Low unemployment has nothing to do with WAGES still not meeting the cost of living. That isn't just about poor urban blacks, it is also about the wages of the middle class and poor rural whites.

What the GOP voters do not get is that any tax breaks the middle class get, ARE A FUCKING BRIBE, and are swamped by the corporate tax breaks, and those corporations at the same time HAVE NO FUCKING INTENT in raising wages.

What is really sad, is that I have had very decent mom and pop business owners who did give TWO raises that I never asked for. Not enough of our top thinks like that.

And it annoys the shit out of me that even when I point to billionaires that would agree with me, suckers like Alpha won't listen to them. Nick Hanauer is a BILLIONAIRE who has consistently said, when workers wages meet the cost of living, that protects his feedback loop.

Unemployment has been going down since 2011, the rate of decline seems to be slowing under Trump. He hasn't done anything great.

I've told you before that I get raises of 5-6% every year. That outpaces inflation.

And you seem to forget -- if you ever knew -- that I stated here repeatedly in 2016 that I had no intention of voting for either, given the certain electoral outcome in Louisiana.

I'm not a Democrat; I just happen to "caucus" with them, since the GOP long ago abandoned the principles that would have drawn me in. It's a shame because the GOP that once helped push through the Civil Rights bills of the '60s and who later stood on principle to threaten their own boy in the White House with impeachment . . . that party is my real political home, but it's been taken over by big money libertarians, social conservative Jesus freaks, and resentful culture warriors. Not my kind of people.
