I imagine that's about all he knows about it, too, whatever he's seen on TV and in movies.

Happened 9 years, 1 month, 5 days before I was born, and I remember it.

This is definitely a slanted report. 

I remember the Alamo also.

I remember the fall of Rome and when Ugh discovered fire. Poor Ugh. Not only the first human to discover fire but also the first to burn to death. The rest of the family stayed warm that night, though.

So there’s a plus.

Could be both Min's suggestion and yours. On the campaign trail Ronnie Ray-Gun's dementia and Alzheimer's had him believing the war films he starred in were war experiences. He literally thought he had liberated Bergen Belsen concentration camp.

I remember the big bang, it was very loud!
