So what are you trying to say? That they are innocent because they didn't go to prison? It took a long time to sentence Cosby and he had a head start and also more serious charges than most of others.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). You do have an imperfect legal system, that works differently for rich people, than it does for the poor, dimwit.
Cosby could afford the best lawyers, large payoffs to his victims and who knows what other methods money can influence the judicial process. He was also a beloved TV star, so a lot of people wanted to see him found innocent. And he was still found guilty, while - for example - OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson - despite very damning evidence and suspicious behavior - got off.

No. You're a despicable human being, because where others focus on the plight of 60 rape victims - you're looking for ways to insert your own agenda and make yourself the victim, by association. You're also a despicable human being, because you drag out someone's personal trauma, in order to make a crappy comparison.

Maybe if they all could afford the same lawyers millionaires can - there would be a lot fewer of them.

Quote:Below are the details of our findings and the research that has been done.

1. We have now learned and will prove that the DA of Montgomery County used falsified evidence against Bill Cosby.

2. During both trials, Mr. Steele introduced what he claimed was an accurate recording of a conversation between Gianna Constand and Mr. Cosby.

3. After intense research by my Associate Ebonee Benson, we discovered that the recording was doctored, Mr. Cosby retained a forensic expert to conduct an analysis of the recording.

4. The forensic expert has now confirmed that the tape was manipulated in two places. The expert, in her own words, concluded: “Without question, this is not an authentic recording.”

5. Mr. Cosby’s defense team is preparing a motion to address Mr. Steele’s use of falsified evidence. Mr. Cosby clearly has been denied his right to a fair trial. These injustices must be corrected immediately.
These accusations of tape doctoring have been made, but not demonstrated.  They made the accusation IN COURT as well, and nothing came of it then either.  Basically, he's making a claim that has yet to be backed up.  Interesting that you buy that claim, rather than the words that Cosby actually says on the tape.

They are basically saying there are mass false accusations being made by women because of racism and (reverse) sexism, to try and bring down powerful men.  That's actually in the statement you linked.  It's tinfoil hat bullshit.  I'm not shocked you take any of it seriously.

Quote:It is no accident that the prosecutor Steele worked so closed with anti-black and anti-male activist Gloria Allred who tried to extort $100 million dollars from Dr. Cosby in 2014 and continues to produce racist and sexist publicity against him.

What is going on in Washington today with Judge Kavanaugh is part of that sex war that Judge O’Neill along with his wife are a part of.
That's a statement by Cosby's attorney.  Crazy shit right there.

There are several civil suits pending against Cosby from some of his other accusers.  This still isn't over.  More evidence will come to light

Additionally, addressing racism charge...the accuser is not white. Her lawyer is black. This isn't racism.

Actually the above was reported on by a number of news sources.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/entertainme...onviction/

Quote:In a failed, last-ditch bid to keep Cosby free on bail pending his appeal, his lawyers on Tuesday accused prosecutors of playing a doctored tape for the jury.
Cosby’s publicist said afterward that a forensic expert found that a tape Constand’s mother made of a 2005 telephone call with Cosby had been manipulated in two places and was “not an authentic recording.”
During the call, Cosby talks about a plan to pay for Constand’s education.
District Attorney Kevin Steele rejected the allegations, saying it was widely known that Gianna Constand started her recorder after the call began.
“If that’s what they’ve got, it’s beyond a Hail Mary,” Steele said.

Regardless if the tape was doctored or not, according to Pennsylvania law it is a felony to record someone over the phone without their consent, So answer this, why is illegally obtained evidence allowed? Why was damning testimony from a friend of the family that goes against the accuser not allowed?

What about the contradicting testimony?

http://www.yc.news/2017/06/12/cosby-tria...testimony/

Quote:Constand filed a police report with the Durham Police Department in 2005, providing information that completely contradicted her testimony in June 2017.
Quote:With the overwhelming amount of contradicting testimony, our editorial department assigned a fact checker to review each section of the original police report filed in Canada with Constand’s testimony. Ironically, Constand’s entire report consisted of statements that would soon contradict everything she said on the stand. This raises questions as to who prepped her for trial. When confronted, Constand mentioned she had problems recalling the exact details because the report was made one-year after the incident. Strangely, Constand remembered more about the incident twelve years later when testifying in Montgomery County last week.

Quote:[3] – Constand mentioned that contact with Cosby was very brief and rare following the incident.

Constand contacted Cosby 72 times via telephone following the alleged assault, including nine times on Valentine’s Day and 30 minutes before police arrived Jan. 13, 2015.

Constand also contacted Cosby at 8:17 a.m. Jan. 13, 2015, before contacting her mother.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/bill-cosby-accu...d=54417214

Quote:In what could be a major blow to the prosecution's sexual assault case against Bill Cosby, a former model and reality TV star admitted on the witness stand Thursday that she fabricated passages in a memoir -- including a story of "rebuffing" the comedian's advances.
Quote:“Here was 'America’s Dad' on top of me -- a happily married man with five children,” Dickinson testified in Montgomery County Court in Norristown. “And I remember thinking how wrong it was -- how very, very wrong.”

She told the jury that she passed out during the assault, saying, "It was gross."

Dickinson said she confronted Cosby the day after the alleged assault, but he did not acknowledge it occurred.

"I wanted to hit him," she testified. "I wanted to punch him in the face."

Under cross-examination, Cosby's attorney, Tom Mesereau, confronted Dickinson about her 2002 ghostwritten memoir, "No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel."

Mesereau challenged Dickinson's testimony, pointing out her description of the assault differed wildly from the Lake Tahoe encounter with Cosby she described in her memoir.

Holding up a copy of her book, Mesereau cited passages in which she described rebuffing Cosby’s advances in Lake Tahoe, then “popping two Quaaludes and going to sleep” alone in her own hotel room.

Dickinson acknowledged that she concocted stories in the book in order to get a much-needed paycheck.

Now my last question to you is, are you fine with those discrepancies?

You really should read the article you linked becuase in it we learn that "her" book was not written by her but by a ghostwriter who took as she says "poetic license” with her life story.

And then she said: “I put my hand on the Bible and I swore. I wasn’t under oath when I wrote the book."

How convenient... She admits to lying in her book, but she promises shes telling the truth now? She fabricated a story about Cosby for money... this is from her own mouth, why shouldn't we see this also as a money grab?

Also are you just going to just skip over Constand's contradictions?

RE: Cosby Sentence
Cosby twice admitted he drugged women to have sex with them. He only quibbles over the consensual nature. They agreed to take the drugs does not mean they consented to everything. He also lied about what the drugs were, making that a moot point anyway.

You claim the phone call was taped illegally, but I can't find any evidence to back up your claim. Funny enough, your word alone isn't convincing.

The evidence was admitted. He admits he drugged and had sex with her and apologies. If all you have is a possible technicality, them he's still guilty of rape and you are still a rape apologist.

60 women didn't lie. This isn't some vast conspiracy. I am heartbroken each time one of the men I loved on screen turns out to be a monster. It hurts and it feels like a personal betrayal. But we need to stop letting people get away with crime because they are the same race or gender as we are.

First of all you didn't address anything I asked you, and you totally ignored Constands contradictions.

As far as it being illegal to tape someone over the phone with out their consent, I posted the evidence which is east to find, so it appears you intentionally seem to be dodging that question.

Quote:The charges the comedian faces stem from a 2004 incident at his suburban Philadelphia home, where Constand, 44, the former director of operations for the women’s basketball team at Temple University, claims she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Cosby, who was a Temple trustee.

In the encounter at his home, Cosby said he began rubbing Constand’s bare midriff -- which he described as “the question zone,” according to the deposition read for the jury in Montgomery County Court in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

He said he moved his hand down to her pants near her private parts -- a region he referred to as “the area that is somewhere between permission and rejection," according to his deposition. He said Constand did not tell him to stop.

Cosby graphically described Constand returning his physical affection.

He said he didn't directly ask for permission to touch her private parts, but that his actions were a form of a wordless question.

"I'm asking, without saying [for permission]. I’m giving Andrea time to say yes or no -- to the area right there in the question zone," Cosby said, according to the deposition.

“I didn’t say it verbally. The action is my hand on her midriff, which is skin. I’m not lifting ... I’ve got her skin and it’s just above where you can go in her pants. I don't hear her say anything. And I don't feel her say anything," he said in the deposition. "And so I continue and I go into the area that is somewhere between permission and rejection. I am not stopped."

He said Constand ultimately rejected his advances when they moved to another room and he began to kiss her breasts, according to the deposition.
“Andrea said to me either one of two words: 'Stop' or 'No,'" he said in the deposition.

He said he stopped and walked her out of his home.

"She does not look angry. She doesn't say to me, 'Don’t ever do that again.' She doesn't walk off in a huff because I think I’m a pretty good reader of people in these romantic situations," he said in the deposition.

Someone else addressed the supposed "contradiction".  I didn't think I needed to repeat it.

I addressed everything else you brought up, which is why you had to RErespond to all of it, you just don't like what I said.

What is this picture at the end?  The fact that the black man got a guilty verdict, but all the white guys didn't even go to trial?
Now that's a fair complaint, Huggy, it is!  But it doesn't make Cosby innocent.  It just means that of all the rapists and sexual assaulters that are guilty, only the black one went to prison.  It still certainly doesn't speak well to our justice system, but it has jack all to do with his innocence.  Not every black man in prison is innocent.

If you were to address the fact that only Cosby was in prison for these crimes, while other rapists walk free, I'd march right there with you. They all need to be on trial. But no, you have to be a rape apologist, too. So that invalidates the rest of your argument.
