Just want to say, I know that this has been here for a little while, but I’ve been reading through all the threads on TTA related to Seth’s decision to shut the forum down and I’m genuinely sad for all the folks over there. Seems like a really great community and it appears a lot of you have made genuine friendships both online and in RL.

Realise that AF can never replace TTA for the regulars there, but I’m hopeful that we can at least be here either permanently or temporarily for all of you and you can forge new friendships here as well.

The staff and members are committed to ensuring you’re all welcome here, and if you do manage to get another place up and running in the future then I wish everyone the best and I hope it all works out for you. You’ll have a new member in me if you do get some place up and running.

(Also, worth pointing out that twice while trying to type hadron, I nearly misspelled it as hardon, and my curiosity is taking me to dangerous places again... so I had to use the acronym instead)

LHC dark matter( and other top secret workings) is used here for the AF perpetual motion turbines, It's what keeps the forum lights on.

Cool...I really like my cardiologist...he has a great sense of humor.  When I saw him a couple weeks ago he pointed at the big bruise on my arm and laughed...then took me off the blood thinner.  

He and I have had some interesting exchanges since my heart attack.

The instruments in the pictures were my dad's.  He was a veterinarian.
