3. I have a purple belt in Shotokan karate and a yellow belt in judo.
   
4. My musical instrument collection consists of four clarinets, a digital piano, an alto sax, and a flute.
   
5. At one point there were nine cats living in my house.
   
6. Given the choice between shopping for clothes and shopping for building supplies, odds are 10:1 in favour of building supplies.
   
7. I speak bits and pieces of over twenty languages, just enough to get me into serious trouble on any continent.
   
8. The thought of eating smoked oysters fills me with irrational terror.
   
9. There's a toy Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog on my desk, and there's a USB cable in his fierce jaws.  (His name is Wensleydale, the Cable Management Rabbit.)
   
10. I "won" National Novel Writing Month six years in a row (wrote 50,000+ words), but had a perfect storm of obstacles in 2011 (broken fibula, rear-ended and totaled car, and less spare time due to musical commitments) and haven't done it since.
    

Since we can double down:

1. I went to three different high-schools because I wasn't smart enough.
2. Puns are, to me, some of the funiest things in the world, eclipsed perhaps only by the comedic potential of self-deprecation.
3. My favorite animals are praying mantises.
4. My totem, in scouts, is 'straightforward Dolphin'.
5. Donatello is my favorite of the TMNT.
6. I'm thoroughly embarrased about my master-thesis that got me my sociology degree.
7. I have a type of color-blindness.
8. I haven't been on a real holiday in three years.
9. I talk to myself when no-one is around.
10. I've been in the same theater group for 16 years now, since I was 11.

1. I am named after my great grandmother...I not only don't know anyone else with the name but can't find anyone online either. And no one can pronounce it correctly on the first, and sometimes the second, attempt.
2. I don't get the popularity of Nirvana or Jimmy Buffet.
3. I have two siblings...so three kids in the family...I have three kids...and I have three grandkids. Girl, girl, boy in each case.
4. Until life took a turn, I planned to teach kids with hearing loss.
