Cathi hears you coming through the door. You hear their conversation stop immediately and Cathi says something quietly.

Round 1: Fight!

As soon as you come into the kitchen, you hear Cathi say "Oh, fuck this!", and she bolts up the living room stairs to the upper hall. As she runs, you see strands of shadow clinging to her.

Erus is up! You are 40 feet from Amylda. You cannot see Cathi has she has run up the stairs in the section of the living room you cannot see. Amylda has a rather stunned look on her face.

Erus begins chanting, as he begins the summoning spell.

Simon is up!

(Zane is having trouble reaching the site, for some reason. I'm posting in his stead.)

Simon takes advantage of the situation and charges in at Amylda, leaving room to the side for anyone else -> d20+8+2 = 21, and hits for -> 1d8+5 = 9 damage!

Wasting no time, Khah uses his feline agility to increase his speed, and gets into flanking position with Simon, striking at Amylda with his rapier -> d20+8+2 = 27, and hits for -> 3d6+2 = 14 damage! Amylda crumples to the ground before she could do more than pull a stupid face.


Stanis is up! You heard Cathi run up the stairs in the other room.

OOC: Is it possible to have the energy of Tasha's Hideous Laughter waiting to be unleashed? Like my guy concentrates on the spell, holding the casting of it with a hold action, waiting to fling it at the first sign of a target?
But if I can't see Cathi because she has cast invisibility on herself then I'll just follow behind Khah & Simon, playing muh lute to impart my Bardic Inspiration/Bardic Confidence (whichever you deem more helpful in the current situation) upon them.

Yes, although it's a pain to use it if you're chasing someone. You can ready an action (and specify a trigger) as a standard action, which would allow you your 30' move.

Stanis goes into the room, where he sees Khah and Simon standing over Amylda. He hear's Cathi running upstairs, with a pretty solid head start.

Darykis moves into the room, gives Amylda a glance, and looks up at the ceiling. "There's not much up there other than spare rooms. My guess is she's going to go out a window and make a run for it. You can try to head her off through the front door or back door. I'm not sure if you want to split up or not."

Round 2:

You hear Cathi's footsteps stop upstairs in a room by an out-side wall.

Erus is up! His skeleton appears next to Simon, Khah, and Amylda. It will be around for four rounds to be commanded.

"Swiftly Minion meet the women trying to escape from the second floor on the street! Don't let he survive!" After the order I check Amylda for a pulse.

The skeleton runs up the stairs. Amylda is still alive, although she's bleeding pretty badly from two wounds. If you want to staunch the bleeding, just say so, and we can retroactively assume you did. It won't heal her or make her conscious, but it will keep her from losing HP while she bleeds out.

(I'm going to assume Zane is having trouble getting on and post for him.)

Simon opens the front door and runs out onto the street, looking for Cathi.
Spot -> d20+2 = 17
Listen -> d20+2 = 17

Simon yells "She's opening a window on the side of the house!"

Khah runs out the back, doing the same.
Spot -> d20+0 = 14
Listen -> d20+7 = 14

Stanis is up! You're in the room with Erus. Cathi seems to be upstairs somewhere, although Darykis thinks that she's likely going out a window.
