Got a load of pics from a local museum, should upload/share them somehow. They got anything there.

You mostly see variuos models of tanks isolated, so its hard to draw conclusions, but in Sinsheim they have A Sherman next to a Panther. Guys, the Panther dwarves the Sherman in sheer size (same for T34, its tiny).

Hetzer: cutest and dangerous little moFo you will ever find.
.....and then there is the Jagdpanther *drool*  Bow Down

Quick way to tell a Panther from the Tiger II. The Tiger has a shoulder on the gun, Panther is smooth into the mantlet.

It does(dwarf the sherman), yeah, that was one of it's disadvantages.  Th t34 85, btw, still in service.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Early production tiger II also had mono bloc barrel smooth to the mantlet.

Two completely reliable visual differentiator between tiger II and panther are:

1. All versions of tiger II had a massive overhang at the back of the turret.  No panther version do.

2. The commander’s cupola on all versions of tiger II are in the middle of the turret while those on all versions of panther were flush with the back of the turret.

So what about this ?

I see your puny 11 inch gun that shoots pitiful chemical explosive shells and can’t leave railway tracks,  and I raise you a 16.25” gun that shoots nuclear shells and on mounted on cross country tracked chassis.
