Never been a good speller. Thanks for the correction. Easy name to forget how to spell too.

It is the same with the female spelling of Payton, vs the male spelling of Peyton.

Um, no sorry, but he was high in the ranks and was fighting for Hitler. If he was anti- Nazi he would have done what Oscar Shindler did. Being a tactical genius does not mean you are fighting for good. 

If I am remembering the documentaries right, his "Desert Fox" nickname still did not prevent the North African German troops from falling for the fake army the British conned the Germans into attacking.
