I don't see why not. An eternal world makes more sense to me than a world that was created by some god out of literally nothing.

Anyway, this is a beautiful thing to see. I truly do believe that god will simply be a non-factor in most peoples lives at some point.

Although an infinite universe exhibits a Godlike characteristic. Probably something science couldn't verify.
