This time, Medina -the city prophet Mohammed made his capital and he died in- got invaded by swarms of bugs:

That so many -including me on this site- have said for so long that a curse from God will hit the regime of Saudi Arabia. Who knows what's gonna happen in this upcoming Hajj ? these bug swarms seem like a bad omen. And hey; so many let the Sauds get away with all the crimes they did; too.

Sounds to me like they're attracted to the lights, which..you know, fact check true. Perhaps they should try low wavelength lighting? Works for me.

Lots of rain in Eritrea and Aethiopia this winter has lead to immense increase in population of crickets (due to lots of vegetation providing lots of food for them). They were able to have two breeding seasons in one year even. They have been moving north to Egypt, but many swarms have even crosses the Red Sea into Saudi Arabia. Even in the inner part of the arabian peninsula they can find food easily, since there seems to have been more rain than usual as well. The insects have arrived now at the UAE and southern Iran and there are concerns they will move into Afghanistan and India......according to the UN.
So these insects have been originated in Ethiopia, moved to Egypt, Arabia, UAE and maybe are gonna move to Asia, but the fact that a few of em are currently in Mecca or Media, that is a sign.
