RE: "Don't take away people's hope"
Maybe words like 'imagine', 'comprehend', and 'describable' mean something different when applied to God.  Lots of word are like that. Rolleyes

“exists”
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

So as God. The effect he reflected on his surroundings was well described in the "argument from design".

Even Newton believed in it.

I think you should do that, try it for a week...then report back.

I can't ignore the design of the universe; atheism is ignoring the fishy aspects of this universe, which is one position I find hard to digest.

I can't "lie to myself" and say: the universe came to be alone out of the blue.

It doesn't reflect light or emit it; so you're forced to picture it as a "void" until we discover a way to see it.
In other words:you can't imagine it.

So, which one of you two assholes should we believe? The one who says he could choose to be an atheist....or the one who assures us he can’t?

This is true BTW. Everything is different when it's about God; for example : anger. When a human gets angry they lose control and become subjects for their hormones. But when God gets angry, he never loses control, he is not a biological creature like humans.

We will see him later when we get accepted in paradise.

But he discovered the law of gravity and was spot on in many of his scientific interpretations.
You should be grateful to him as a westerner; I mean he literally lifted the west to a whole new level with his discoveries.

Boy, making every word mean something else when applied to god sure clears things up.

I mean, just look at how well it works when applied to you!

Atlas bed peacock rock salt pined.

The west lifted itself up with the judicious use of organized violence, Atlas. We tell stories about our loftier pursuits to contextualize our ascendancy and dominance in more self serving terms.

Don't listen to anybody; just observe the phenomena of the universe and judge yourself. But never forget that some humans reported a creator for this whole show.
