To you it is, sure. But in my and many others' foiks' estimation, there was a fair amount of ridiculously stupid tapdancing involved in his grieving that is indeed, worthy of discussion. And it has given folks who are a part of those conversations reason to question why certain Black folks accept that they should put vile racists' needs to be stroked, consoled and forgiven above giving voice to their own justified outrage. So no, my and others' criticism hasn't been futile, actually. It's been quite useful in compelling folk's to examine the idiotic bullshit idoctrination that suggests that it's somehow virtuous to forgive motherfuckers who would see fit to show a fucking dog more compassion, consideration and mercy than they would a black human being, and reminding folk's that this is the very shit was beaten into out ancestors long ago with the express purpose of weakening their resolve to fight against their oppression.

Botham Jean is dead because of that Guyger's racial bias and his brother and that judge are Grade A fools if he they think that forgiving that racist twat and wiping her tears away in the name of Jesus is going to make that go away.

Colonized minds need decolonizing and I aim to help where I can.

Now you and I walk different paths in life so that I'm not surprised aren't able to relate to/understand my issue with the brother's and judge's antics, and that's fine. But what played out in that courtroom is a garbage narrative that too many of us have been lapping for way too long, and I for one, will continue to call it out as such with the intent on compelling some of my people to open their fucking eyes and remember just who and what it is they're dealing with when it comes to these racist motherfuckers.
