Dude: where does the bible say that Jesus, "died for our sins"? I know that badly translated verse which clearly has the preposition huper(hyper) which means 'over' and NOT "for"! The picture you are being given there is like the ark where they sprinkled the blood on the bEma to COVER the hamartia of man inside. hamartia figuratively means: miss, amiss, wayward, off course, and not 'sin'. Literally it refers to the errand flight of an arrow flung from a bow without any concern for the harm it may cause to self and/or others. There is absativally no list of sins in the entire bible. Therefore, a 'sin' is whatever you say it is and to as many whom are dumb enough to listen to you. Jesus covered our ass!

The English word 'sin' comes from the Latin sinistra which means: left hand. See how stupid?

If Jesus could forgive 'sin' while alive, and He did, then why did He have do die for?

If John said 'confess' and we are forgiven: then why did Jesus have to die for?

Jesus died because of the parabasis(motion against a fixed point or standard also translated as "sin", transgress) of Adam which made all mankind paraptOma(to cross a line viewed from it's effect(also translated "sin", trespass): hamartia or, amiss. Since that time, "death reigned from Adam till Moses" when the Levitical offerings put the things of death aside until the final offering of Jesus which paid our ransom and freed us from our captor death(not physical death) that we might have life(not physical life) in His fame. A past action no one can add to or, take away: making "salvation" moot. "I set before you life and death.' "Choose life that you may live.'" Why should I or anyone care what the magic book says about sin? The whole concept of everyone inheriting Adam's sin is fundamentally immoral.

And "Do what I say or die" is not a real choice
