That is a sunset described very accurately, just like they describe it in:

As for waiting for "scientists", do you say that the people who thought earth was flat were right in denying all their thoughts, and waiting for the clowns who worked for the Pope to tell them what to believe?

This guy commits a post hoc rationalisation, then gets reminded that he is post hoc rationalising.
Now guess how he answers that.....yeah, with yet another post hoc rationalisation Facepalm

No. The Quran pre-dates the scientific revolution, and the verses said literally that water on earth came from outside of earth.

No post hoc rationalization.

No. I'm not seeing any common theme between me and him. Instead of trying to shut me up by throwing him against me, it's better for you to reply to the OP if you respect yourself. Reply to the idea to see the difference.

Is that a yes?

Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Remember that there's an OP that needs a refuting from your side; if you hoped that I would call this "a discussion" or even "a debate".

You didn't.
Your first post belongs in the "Humor" section:

H and 2 O came from the tears of the magic crocodile that cradles Earth ever so lovingly between its jaws.

That's not really an answer. It's an acknowledgment from you that the OP doesn't worth your time, I'm totally fine with that; but why do you keep commenting on it, and turn yourself into a conspiracy theorist in the process?

Anyways, there is an OP that needs to be refuted. So any serious reply from your side?

Koran doesn't mention comets or outer space, it says water fell from the sky - like rain. It's just that you fanatically want to believe that Koran was written by some supernatural beings that you make such stupid conclusions.

You are as "compelling" as Nostradamus freaks quoting his verses and showing how he supposedly predicted JFK assassination, WTC attack, Moon landing...
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

"The sky" includes space. Even humans until this day use this sentence: "the comet fell from the sky"

It's embarassing that you think otherwise.

I quoted NASA. And no it's not embarrassing for me; especially when I read about what pre-industreial age scientists used to say.

At base, everything on earth came from space. Why single out water? Why not uranium, for example? Or silicon?

So let me get this straight #33, you can profess that your smorgasbord of ridiculous rubbish can corroborate your mythical yarn, but anyone else attempting to present an alternate premise is just deluding themselves?

But the Quran did mention that "Iron" was sent from space to earth:

Quote:Sura 57, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 25 )   We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
