RE: [Quranic Reflection]: Water came from space as NASA said
You know ancient people knew a lot about, as you call it, "iron from the sky" which they called meteorites. For instance in Tutankhamun's tomb was found a meteoric iron dagger.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

God is in space, even this verse from the Quran says it:

Quote:Sura 2, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 29 )   It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

'Water comes from the sky' means that Arabs saw rain.

'Iron comes from the sky' means that Arabs knew about meteoric iron.

But the OP is not about iron, it's about water.

Sky ad Heavens refers to the sky not space

I said here why I have a problem with this interpretation:

https://atheistforums.org/thread-60144-p...pid1947380

The context and the literal words do not point to rain in OP's verses; but point to water falling from the sky.
The same is for Iron.

No. In the universe of the Quran; "sky" is a very big word and the world contains 7 of these skies:

No.
Heavens = سماوات
Sky = سماء
Rain = المطر, الغيث
Heavens and sky are not related to rain linguistically
