He still did not pronounce "I am from Berlin" correctly. He still meant to say, "I am a German too", like any empathetic politician trying to garner empathy from another population.

Wrong on all counts. The legend isn’t an issue of pronunciation, but one of grammar. Kennedy’s grammar was perfect. Furthermore, the pastry in question isn’t called a Berliner in Berlin, but a Pfannkuchen. The crowd knew exactly what he meant (which explains why the remark was greeted with thunderous cheers instead of a puzzled silence).

Fine Boru, but I still cant understand the link finally found and posted here only had just over 500 views. The original video found had to have had more views than noted by the link posted here. There was both a German and English video version made in the 80s long before the age of the internet.
I just cant figure out why it was so easy for me to find the English video online years ago only to have a link that shows several hundred views posted now.

For about 4 years there was an ABBA fan based radio station, NOT PAID fan club online music online music feed. ALL OFF THE MEMBERS of ABBA loved it and approved of it. But asshole Universal who owned the rights to their songs ended up cutting the free based fan club internet radio station off.
Not one member of ABBA is going to die poor. THEY GOT IT AND APPROVED of a fan club playing their music for other fans. SHARING SUCKS .......... OH WAIT!
