Who Still Thinks Joe Biden Will Be The Nomine?

So the Yanks have a loon with a whiff of the far right, a confused centrist and a toxic lefty.
It's surprisingly reminiscent of the British election...

I'll vote my conscience, you vote yours. While I don't like Trump's behavior/actions (before or after election) there are some Sanders positions that I can't support.

Your conscience is being silly.

You're not alone, I hope the left isn't aggressive enough to force the centrists to vote right as happened here.

On the contrary.

That's because Tim Kane is really boring and barely anybody had heard of time before the 2016 election. Hilary Clinton must have chosen the most paltry option for Vice President. Not inspiring at all.

Ah yes, the guy who confuses his younger sister for his wife is totally the person who can beat Donald Trump. He also kept saying he was in the state of Vermont when he was actually in New Hampshire. Yeah, sure, this confused dotard is the totally the person to beat Donald Trump and Republicans.

Burlington Free Press Wrote:Democratic front-runner Joe Biden made a campaign stop in New Hampshire this weekend, but he didn’t seem to know it.

Responding to a reporter’s question about his impression of Keene, New Hampshire, Biden offered his appreciation for Vermont’s natural beauty.

"I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it? And what a neat town. This is like a scenic, beautiful town. The mayor's been a good guy. Everybody has been really friendly. I like Keene a lot," Biden told the reporter.

Keep dreaming. He also apparently confused Iowa with Vermont (because there is a place called Burlington in Iowa as well as Vermont it seems):

Quote:This is the second time this month that Biden has mentioned Vermont in a public address, despite that he, well, wasn’t here. According to the Washington Examiner, at a campaign fundraiser in Delaware while referencing a speech he gave on Aug. 7 in Burlington, Iowa, Biden referred to the town as Burlington, VT, but quickly corrected himself.

But do you get the point I was making? Trump wasn't scared of Bernie at the time, he was scared of Hillary being boosted by Bernie as her VP pick (because of his stance on trade). Hillary was the one that scared him, not Bernie. It's easy to see from his tweets that Trump would love to have Bernie as the Democratic nominee for 2020 because he feels he could crush him with ease in the general election.

The sister/wife thing was understandable. If you pay attention, they did switch positions without him noticing. Anyone could've made that mistake.

But either way, this doesn't seem to matter anyway. Biden is seen as the guy who can really beat Trump. It's the perception that matters here.

Is the president not supposed to be a dotard? It's hard to remember pre-trump norms.

If the wife and sister thing was the only thing then I'd give it a pass. There are entire compilations showing the decline of Joe Biden's mental faculties. It seems the bar to become president has reached new lows.

P.S. Only the mainstream media bubble and the consultant and punditry class in Washington D.C. think Joe Biden is the best choice to be Donald Trump (hence they don't cite polling). They are just trying to save their own butts. They love the corruption in Washington. These are the same people that told us Hilary Clinton would enter the Oval Office and I have yet to hear an apology from them for being so wrong.

It really confuses me how much the Democratic party tries to sabotage Bernie when he's clearly our best chance at getting rid of Trump. Even if Trump wasn't part of the equation, Bernie has a lot of good ideas, and has been incredibly consistent (especially compared to other politicians on his level), and it's hard for me to understand why other Democrats don't respect that.
