Grow to fuck up, dude. Some of us progressives don't see Bernie as the second coming of Christ. Maybe you're right and we're wrong but there is no idiotic conspiracy. Some of us simply disagree with you that the direction Bernie would take the US is the right way for us. Bro you need to relax a little tonight man. Whatevers got you agitated ain't anyone on here's fault. Seriously dude relax a little with the mean-spirited insults and shit man.
Anyway, I don't think any of us see Bernie as the "second coming of christ" - I don't think I'd actually be all that impressed with the "Second coming," because only lazy, selfish lovers who call themselves men have a problem with coming more than once. I mean jesus it's like most guys have never heard of the word foreplay.
Sorry - had to
Anyway, it's not like I'm sucking Bernie's old, wrinkled cock, I just think the guy has some decent ideas. Ideas that are necessary to start turning this country in a better direction. I mean look - America is one of the greatest places to live on Earth. And I'm not some huge national pride type of guy. I didn't choose to be born here... but having lived here almost 27 years, it's a pretty cool fuckin' place man. But we can do a lot better in a lot of different ways, and there's no reason we shouldn't try. There's nothing more American than try to do better and better, and make sure everyone has a shot to make it here. That's what America is!
And maybe to a lot of people that sounds cheesy and naive and ignorantly optimistic. Whatever man. America is the place where people's fucking dreams come true all the time. And it's not like everyone's a rockstar here. But you have a shot to make it here and we are all incredibly privileged compared to most of the fucking world man.
We should still strive to do better though, because that's who we are. I think Bernie has some decent ideas on how to do that. And if I need to say it again, I will - when it comes to the standards that we hold politicians to, which have become lower and lower as time's gone on, Bernie has been extremely consistent throughout his entire career. He certainly wasn't ever some diehard conservative like fucking Warren, who people were going batshit over just because they wanted a female can. to vote for - fucking stupid if you ask me.
There's a couple of radical ideas that Bernie has, but who says that's a bad thing? Maybe we need radical right now, and not in the way that Trump's giving it to us.
Just think... What the fuck is Biden gonna' do? He's the safe option. But what's his plan? I couldn't tell you a single fucking policy of Biden's, LOL. And, like I've said before that's probably because I don't pay attention to the debates (and neither should anyone), but I really couldn't tell you a single plan the guy has.
I don't know. I suppose some Bernie fans are a bit zealous, but the guy is extremely consistent and super transparent about what he wants to do as POTUS. I respect the fuck out of that, personally.

Oddly, elsewhere on the intertubes, I have a chap who thinks Bernie is exactly that. Since Jebus eschewed money, he thinks Bernie will abolish money and establish a Utopia where everything is free. Can't say I recall such a pillar of Bernie's platform, but such wingnuts actually exist. Most odd.

As someone who is hoping for a miracle that leads to Bernie being the Dem nominee, I have to confess there's a lot of cultlike thinking among many Bernie supporters.
And lot of idiots who thought calling Warren a snake was a great idea.

I find myself interpreting this passage in two ways: either he’s a wingnut and he sees this moneyless utopia Bernie is allegedly creating as the pillar of the Antichrist’s reign, or you meant he was a moonbat, in which case, the rest of the paragraph works perfectly.

Everything free?
Sure.
That will work.
But SOMEHOW - some people believe UBI is a good idea......

Admittedly, the UBI isn’t exactly anywhere near that level of utopian. At least the way Yang described it, it would be a maximum of $12k per annum. Naturally, someone relying solely on that without work would be below the poverty line (and I don’t think I’ve found a serious proposal that didn’t have this caveat), but it would probably be enough that maybe you don’t need to take a second or third job just so you can eat more than ramen noodles.
Then again, especially given that this would require an expenditure of a bit less than $4 trillion per annum (roughly a fifth of our GDP) to cover a population of about 325 million, I’m not entirely convinced of its feasibility, either.

It's as stupid an idea as making everyone rich by taking a Sharpie and adding a zero or two to the denomination of currency.
For essentially the same reason.

And OBL shows his ignorance of UBI

We waste enough money in America on our military alone to prove that a UBI is totally doable. Whether or not it would be beneficial to those who would take it is the real question.
