We should see more widespread testing later in the month.
Ye cos there are a reported 2,813 recovered from 6,063 confirmed cases. It's almost 50%. I hadn't noticed until someone pointed it out to me
Just look at the ratio of confirmed and recovered cases of other countries and we see a big difference compared to Australia. Im not sure why
In other news from down here our prime minister, ScoMo, has said that it won't be long until the nation begins to reopen industries and lift lock down restrictions
There are some people who have a sense of self righteousness, that are calling ScoMo an evil person
This seems to be the view of many people these days, that because someone disagrees with you and because u feel so angry about it they must be evil humans
This kind of indignant attitude is a new plague in our society and is a feature of the millennial generation
Self righteous people that are just waiting to be triggered by something
The simple reason that might be viewed as an evil action is that jumping back to normal will probably bring back rampant viral spread.

Where I live people are allowed to exercise and shop for basic necessities but that's all they're allowed to do or they will get in trouble with the police.
I don't think it goes far enough. It makes zero sense that they're allowed to exercise outdoors once a day even when they're perfectly capable of exercising indoors. Sweaty joggers who could be asymptomatic but still have COVID-19 and infect others shouldn't be running past me because they can't be bothered to exercise indoors. If they're jogging to and from the shops then that's fine (as delivery is often so delayed that we have to go out and fresh air is also good for us) ... but to jog or walk an extra time in addition to on the way to or from the shops is completely unnecessarily exposing yourself to others for no good reason in a potentially dangerous way when you could easily get that exercise in at home. It's stupid. I hope all the joggers that aren't jogging to or from the shops drop dead so that they aren't alive to infect the rest of us any further.

We are all afraid of a second wave but our leader, ScoMo, didn't say we're jumping back to normal. He said we can begin to reopen industries and lift some restrictions

Look at all the neighboring countries and compare their death toll to Germany.
This is going to sound like a cruel joke, but isn't it suspiciously low, similar to VW's emmision numbers
Germany has one of the highest number of docs/capita.
Germany has the highest number of ICU beds in EU (800/mio, Italy has 300)
Number of ventilators just got upgraded from 20k to 30k
Germany has one of the highest number of hospital beds/capita
German clinics are treating patients from Italy and France, since their systems are overwhelmed, ours doesnt seem to be, yet
Italian patients are flown in by Luftwaffe, since some Lufwaffe planes have good ICU capability (Italian planes unfortunately have not)
Some more "flying ICU units" are being converted
And yes, ve are very good at follwing ze orders, unless some jackass washed his car in a public station and got a fine of 25k€.
Nobody has a perfect explanation for why the death toll is so low here, but its maybe a combinaton of factors mentioned above, combined with the (most probable) fact that the first germans to contract SARS-CoV-2 got it from skiing in northern Italy, and those were predominantly young people. Yet, SARS-Cov-2 also has entered quite a few nursing homes and basically swept them clean. But in the end: We dont know, yet.

It’s allowed because it can be easily done while keeping the required social distance.

Oh I'm fine with it when that's the case. But it shouldn't be allowed when there's only one thin path by the side of the road available and they can't jog without jogging right past me.
It's like "Excuse me? Is jogging so close to me really necessary when you could easily cross over?"
And the issue is that when they're running I don't always have time to cross the road to avoid them myself. If they were walking I would have time to cross over and avoid them myself (sometimes there's traffic on the road). And if the road was so busy that I didn't have time to cross over even if they were walking ... people should STOP over 2 metres away and wait for the traffic to clear so they can cross over and avoid each other!
Also, I'm really pissed off that the supermarkets I shop in have visible signs all over that tell everybody that they have to maintain at least 2 metres of social distancing from people and that they should wait for the person in front of them to be finished in the area they're shopping and move rather than walk right past them but so far the majority of people shopping in there are breaking that rule and will literally walk right past me even when I've only taken a couple of seconds to look at something on the shelves!.
Ugh. I wish they'd be arrested.
I saw a video of a woman sitting on a park bench who refused to move and was eventually arrested. In my country that sort of thing is supposed to happen if people misbehave but I wish it was stricter in my local area. Where are the cops nearby to the stores to arrest 90% of the shoppers who are breaking the rules? I guess the supermarket doesn't want to call the police because they'd lose 90% of their customers because 90% of their customers are arsecunters.
And it REALLY fucking pisses me off that the idiots who think this virus isn't serious behave as if that should apply to others who disagree with them and know it is serious. It's like, okay dumbcunts you're entitled to your opinion but that doesn't mean you should put other people at risk who disagree with you.
Conspiracy theorists who put others in danger because of their beliefs should be rounded up and executed. Before they virally execute somebody else more sensible with their own idiocy.

Failing to dismiss something stupid or evil as such when it is stupid or evil ... is just being stupid or evil. Calling it childish and toxic doesn't make you any less of an idiot.

And who decides if half of the population is stupid or evil? You? Me? Him?
It's the subjective opinion of a self centered (childish) person which is unhelpful (toxic) to society
A reasonable person understands that there will be different opinions and accepts that

The early German cases were people returning from skiing trips to Italy, generally young, fit and with mild or asymptomatic cases.
As such a large number of them did recover, however now it is in the general population we'll likely see the fatality rate climb quite steeply. Their rate of infection is generally in line with other European countries and on that measure it's Norway that seems to be leading the way in Europe, whilst France is staring at a catastrophe.
On the financial side Italy and Spain are looking at economic collapse and the EU (particularly Holland) are refusing to bail them out. the Italians are yelling that this will be end of the EU though it's difficult to tell how much of this is real and how much is hyperbole.
