Who's given themselves a trim or haircut for the first time.

It's ok if you look crap, we can all blame the virus! lol.

Yeah, I've been doing that with my own head for well over a decade. Just go over it all (except for my beard) with clippers and a #2 clip guard, then let it grow out, lather, rinse, repeat. And I usually go for at least a month and a half before I need to do it again.

And I started because when I went to Notre Dame High School, there were rules over hair length and, eventually, I realised I needed an easier way than telling my parents "I need to get my hair cut or else I'll get a detention" every week or two. I don't know how I latched onto the idea of just using clippers (but I know it took until Christmas break of Senior Year), but I liked the look, and I figured out it was a practical method. And eventually, I got a set of clippers and I decided to use them myself. I haven't looked back in over a decade. Not even when they somehow got waterlogged a couple years ago.

He's 99 years old.

His goal was to raise £1000.

So far he's raised £12 million.

Absolute fucking legend.

Pity he had to do it though. Fucking tories.

Finished installing one of the two Fire Sticks that were delivered today. I need to play around with it to get settings right but husband took over the TV as soon as I had the basics completed.

With signing up for HULU and dropping the 8 bazillion channels on Frontier (of which we watched about 10) I will be saving around $100.00 a month. Frontier offered to cut about 7.99 bazillion channels and offer me a 'savings' of $27.00 a month. Yeah, thanks but no thanks.

Tomorrow I will have new gadgets to play around with while husband's at work.

When we switched from satellite to Roku, we got all of the pay channels we used to have (plus a buttload of freebies) and the bill went from $120/month to a little over $30.

Like with you, the satellite people offered us a 15% reduction to stay with them.

I'm scrolling through and finding all sorts of stuff to watch.

For a throwback to my childhood I just found that Dark Shadows Season 1 from 1966 is there for me to watch...the ultimate in campiness and bad acting....squeal.   Panic

I can't get over the amount of deaths every day from this virus in the US and people are protesting that they want things to go back to normal?

They can't all be loonies ... Are they just desperate? Or desperately bored? Or something that they're prepared to risk their life and that of others for.

Something doesn't sit right ....

As someone elsewhere pointed out, these people driving their cars to tgese protests appear to mostly be in fairly recent SUVs or other expensive vehicles.

They want OTHERS to go back to work.

Some are convinced that it won't affect them because they are covered in the blood of Christ. Some think it will only affect the old and infirm. Others think that people are going to die from lack of money at a similar rate than just opening the country anyway.

All of these ideas are really dumb and missing the reality of the situation.
