Trevon Revisited again, unfortunately...
RE: Trevon Revisited again, unfortunately...
And Another Eric Garner unfortunately. A detained back man with a cop's knee on his neck on the ground.

Very unfortunate, indeed. I’m going to withhold my opinion on this one until we learn more.

B-b-but, we don’t have all the facts. Just video, eyewitnesses and a police report. We obviously need to wait for drone footage and at least one crystal ball viewing.

(Sorry the sarcasm didn’t come through on my earlier post)

If we always defaulted to defending police, then under the arguments of some logic people argue, I should  be dead TWICE.

Back in the early 80s, toy companies made full sized replica firearms, NO RED NOSE. I had a cap gun 38 and a 9 MM. I don't remember which one I was playing with. But someone called the cops on me, which is understandable. POP POP POP, that would scare anyone. So the cop car pulls up, he opens his door, crunched behind it, and aims his gun at me. I drop it of course. But  a black Cleveland kid playing with a BB gun gets shot, but not just shot, the cop who shot him did it through the window without even saying shit or getting out of the car.

Another time in my early 20s, I was sick, had just left work on my way to my girlfriend's house to get her to take me to urgent care. I was speeding through her neighborhood, over the 25mph limit. I was young and sick and pissed. So when the lady cop asked me for my wallet, I threw it at her and it hit her in the chest. I made it to the back of the cop car without dying and I made it to court without dying. Yet Sandra Bland, UNARMED, pulled over for a traffic ticket, dies in custody in jail OVER A FUCKING TRAFFIC TICKET.

If anyone wants to give this cop the  benefit of the doubt, it would still remain you don't fucking put the full weight of your leg on someone's neck. The call was over a forgery, not a mass murder. Yet Dylann Roof murders 9 black church goers, and upon finding him, nobody kills him.

He resisted? I am so fucking sick of that. I "resisted" by throwing my wallet at the cop. I am damned sure my mother wouldn't have bought that as an excuse if that female cop had shot me.

The video I saw was five minutes of a subdued man with another man’s full weight placed on his neck via his knee while another cop who could’ve been putting on handcuffs stood looking around like he was birdwatching.

There could be a back story that works in the cop’s interest perhaps even up to the point of the man’s death. From that point on though it’s hard not to see it as overkill. Literally.

Trevon Martin, Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, ect ect ect ect.....

Nobody is saying the accused should not get benefit of a lawyer or trial. But funny how cops can kill before someone makes it to trial.

By your bullshit logic, the cops in my two events I mentioned prior,  would have been justified in killing me.

Or are you going to tell me what I personally went through?

OF COURSE everyone deserves a lawyer, but that doesn't mean cops should be licenced like James Bond and that training should always default to  deadly force.

The asshole put the full weight on the guy's neck WHILE he was restrained.

Amhund got murdered for jogging and suspected trespassing. I myself as a teen and young adult trespassed myself.

That time when you plead that you aren't violent and then tell the tale of throwing something into a police officer's chest because you had the man flu and couldn't be bothered with a valid traffic stop.
