I once went to a metaphysician to find out what was wrong with me. It turned out to be everything and nothing.
Boru That's brilliant

I understand that any browsing on your phone or laptop will flow over to other sites and you may see ads based on your history and inquiries.
Why, oh why, am I getting emails and such wanting me to buy a coffee maker?
I don't drink coffee. I have never been a coffee drinker. It's been nearly a year since my husband drank any coffee. The only thing I can recall is seeing a container with a small amount of coffee grounds in it in the cabinet and thinking I should just throw it away.
Good lord...is Google reading my mind now?

Maybe you did a web search regarding:
Brazil, where they grow coffee.
Humphrey Bogart, who drank coffee.
Mugs, which hold coffee.
Marijuana, which is also called 'pot', which brews coffee.
Dry cleaners, who press clothes. Coffee can be made with a French press.
France, who have a treaty with Brazil where they grow coffee.

Boru Nope, nope...none of those things.
It's a head scratcher.

I am seeing a trend...
...caution is being referred to as fear with regard to dealing with the pandemic.
If you wear a mask, limit social contact, make only essential trips out of your home it's now being called living in fear. While I am certain this is true for some, there are plenty of us who are simply being cautious in an attempt to not contract COVID or to infect others with it.
For those here, there, and everywhere who think that the meanings of words don't matter, this should be a lesson.

When my little girl goes to sleep, I rub her back and she tells me the stories of her day.
In the morning I bring in the cat to purr her to wakefulness.
Two very important jobs in my opinion. :-)

Similarly, when my ex flatmate was sleeping, I'd throw the cat on him from a distance.
