Home Elevator
RE: Home Elevator
Daily high temperatures are beginning to get into the 80's in this area. It's not quite hot enough yet to install the A/C's. I'm increasingly using the attic fans to cool the house. Last year it was torture for me to use the attic stairs two times or more daily. Now I just get into my elevator and go to the attic without a second thought.  Thumb up

Indeed. I went up this evening to turn on the attic fans. My kitty anticipated my actions and scampered up the library stairs, reaching the attic just ahead of me. She'll probably spend the next few hours sleeping in front of the attic window with a nice breeze wafting over her.  Tiny Tiger

I always wanted an attic, basement and a fireplace.
Those things are very uncommon where I'm from.

I'd like all those things, but only if they're demon-haunted. Panic

These things are not only common, they're almost a necessity if you live in the foothills of The Berkshires in W. Massachusetts. For fireplaces read woodstovesGreat

I find the stoves last longer if you make them out of metal.

I had a whole list of "bad ideas" that I used on my troops. Most of them took a few tries to see the issues.
