It strikes me as odd when someone who says Blue Lives Matter thinks saying Black Lives Matter is wrong because All Lives Matter. I don't think you can have it both ways, if Black Lives Matter contradicts All Lives Matter, so does Blue Lives Matter.

Cops aren't sharks, or at least they're not meant to behave like them. The number you cited may be small in the grand scheme of things but it shouldn't have to get to that point. Also, this isn't a trend that's only happened in one specific year and it isn't about just numbers anyway. People are seeing what's in these videos and getting all freaked out about it. Imagine you're a black person having to constantly see this same shit play over time and time again to other black people and then wondering if/when your turn will be next. It seems like the cops find it relatively easy to pull the trigger on black folks even when what they're doing isn't warranting such violence. And this shouldn't continue to be ignored and dismissed.
