My brother, Mr. It'sahoaxthatwillendaftertheelection, is currently afflicted with COVID.

Since he works at the prison where they send the crazy and/or sick inmates it's not a surprise to me.

His wife, also a believer in the hoax, is staying at their lake house, just in case.

Just in case they're a stupid as they sound? Wacky

Ahhh, yes, and they have passed it (the stupidity) along to Dorkboy...my college educated doofus of a nephew.

RE: The mask thread
I must confess that when I'm walking the dog in the morning, I'm generally not wearing a mask. I do have one with me in case I'm going to make an approach on someone, but I usually go into the street if they are on the sidewalk. Or, they may see me coming and hit the street, first. Everywhere else, I'm masked up, and likely will continue to do so until such time as I feel it is safe not to. That may be for the rest of my life.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

So, like Kit, I wear two masks when I go out: a pleated Royal Stewart Tartan mask with a filter pocket And wire nose bridge, and a surgical model underneath it because I’m really not a big fan of fabric rubbing against my face. Here’s what it looks like, and from the day I got it to my septoplasty and turbinectomy (dad suggested I wear a different mask for the surgery) I never left home without it unless I was just going out to get the mail or take out the trash, and once I‘M well enough to worry about nasal discharge, I fully intend to go back to it.

My daughter says she figures someone will have to come up with mask organizers.  She said now she needs an underwear drawer, a sock drawer, and a mask drawer.

I don't see the wearing of masks coming to an end any time soon.

It certainly isn't here. The country hasn't had a positive tests for weeks, and people with masks still greatly outnumber the stupid.

At my parents' church back in deepest darkest Appalachia, they have two Sunday services. One for people who wear masks (mostly for the old and less aggressively ignorant), and another service for Trump-worshipers who wouldn't show up if masks were required.
