Blah blah blah. So is hunting. "Going outside, tricking an animal to come near you so you can kill it." Hunting is a trick, not a sport. A sport is when both sides go into the game knowing the rules. Don't get your knickers in a bunch, I am not against hunting, except trophy hunting. If you eat what you kill, good, as long as it isn't endangered, but I feel the same way about hunting as you do about American Football. Hunting is sitting in boring silence, waiting to kill something either sweating your ass or freezing your ass off. Yea but riots after a sports win or loss, are fucking stupid, they happen after pro hockey games too. I'd say not even a close to a real reaction to say , getting killed interacting with police. Fuck you and the rest of the fans. (Fanatics) Hunting never pre-empts a TV show. And there hasn't been a hunting riot since 1265 B.C..... RE: Anyone watch the T-day football games?

Not only was it strategically dumb to call a fake punt in that situation, it was a terrible fake punt design. Slow-developing reverse with the punter going out for a pass: ponderous. Funny thing, he was open, but the would-be passer turned deer in the headlights when he saw the punt team wasn't fooled.
Before that, a Dallas linebacker intercepted a gift from Alex Smith and returned it to the 2. Dallas tries another goofy trick play that loses 10 yards. I'm for Detroit and against Dallas on Thanksgiving games. You don't have to trick deer. They have routines and take the same paths. The only skill involved is marksmanship and field dressing. I know, right? If it had been me, I would have handed off the puck to the relief bowler and called a net fault on the loose head prop. That’s ALWAYS what you do with two men on base or after declaring your net debentures as a loss, whichever is greater. Boru

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it! I have never seen such a needless horrible coaching call. Especially only being 4 points down with over 12 minutes to go. Dallas just completely fell apart after that play. Is he baiting the field with corn or salt licks? Maybe you could explain to us how you teach a deer the rules of hunting so that it's a fair fight. Again with you inane comparisons. Plus, as I understand it, biker is perfectly capable of killing an animal from a long way away. Boru

I worked for a guy about 30 years ago whose family had property in South Carolina that was set aside for hunting. Among other things they would hunt quail. Then I got some details on hosting a quail hunt. He was telling me about purchasing quail for his family and friends to hunt on the land. When the big day came they opened the cages the quail were in and the quail wandered out, looked around, and stayed in that area just toddling around looking for a snack. I looked at Andy and said, "Well that's not very sporting, is it?" On that day the quail won. |
