Why is it on the day I have two main work tasks I can't get into one of the sites I need because the boss got us locked out? So now I sit and wait on her to fix it.
It's blowing a gale here. Almost steady wind with gusts up to 45mph. I got back from the grocery store and opened the garage door to carry the groceries in...and in came dried grass and leaves...a lot of both. Sweeping all that back out the door took some timing and waiting for the "big" wind to die down just a bit.
I thought I was going to have to put rocks in my pockets to keep from blowing away.
Keep it over there! It's blowing like crazy here, too.

Husband got the bill for the procedure to put in a heart stent. He had it done as outpatient surgery the Monday before Christmas. He wasn't knocked out with general anesthesia and was at the surgery center for about 6 hours. The bill is over $140,000.00. Yeah, that many zeros, it's not a typo.

Just kidding proviso, before even I say it- amazing he didn't have a heart attack when he saw the bill. Holy moly, that's a lot of money! At least he's alive, though.

Yup...
Being alive to be outraged about a medical bill is preferred to the other way around... |
