So much for going to town today.

So much for going to town today.
I was going to ALRO (local steel supplier) to get supplies today.

So much for that plan.

It'll be an absolute clusterfuck.

President Biden is coming into town...

Go to plan B.

I made the mistake of going to Chicago when O'Bama was visiting. We bailed out and headed south. The east side of the interstate was void of traffic with serious looking dudes blocking the on-ramp. Then this long string of black Suburbans rolled past, an "Ah-ha" moment. Yeah, Chi-town was a clusterfuck then too.

The Shrub (lesser Bush) rolled through Otsego Mi during his re-election.....

I was visiting a buddie's gun shop on the route. (Tri County Sports - now defunct)

We sat 40 feet from the motorcade in a room full of guns and ammo.

No law enforcement of any type visited the store.

We made up a sign and stuck it in the front window -

"VOTE LIBERTARIAN!"

I can't even get quilting stuff via Amazon.

They pretty much muscled through the early days of the pandemic with small delays...now that Texas is frozen things I have on order have a status of:  You might get it someday.  Or: Yeah, well good luck with that.

We don’t really have that issue here. When our prime minister visits a town, people generally just walk over to the barbecue.

Then again, we haven’t had six of our national leaders shot, which may account for the difference.
