I’ve tried that before and it’s not really my thing, either. I remember getting drunk off very little lol

Interesting... Perhaps I should try that...

My first drink when I'm just a teenager was Cointreau
It's like my first love ever since

Then, as I got older, I tried Whiskey because I thought ordering "Whiskey, neat" would be considered as classy...
Not my cup of tea..
Tried Vodka, Tequila, Gin, Rum
Gin & Rum is definitely my poison, but expensive as hell in here.
Because recently, those damn muslim made it really hard to purchase a decent booze
Even beer is not allowed in convenience store, because It's "haram"...
But cheating or marrying up to 4 wives is absolutely halal tho~

Now I'm sticking to cheap local booze
After playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla, I'm wondering how Mead taste like..

Resting in Burbank overnight. It took us nearly 8 hours to cover the 400 miles between north Phoenix and here. Even with air-conditioning, driving in 115+ degree heat gets old pretty fast.

I brew mead. If you use the right yeast (I prefer Lalvin EC-1118 champagne yeast), it's not particularly sweet - think of a mild, rounded white wine that's perhaps a 2 on the sweetness scale.

A mild, rounded white wine that has the overall effect of a brick hidden inside a velvet glove. Especially if you drink a whole pint of it at a sitting. Angel

I'm currently sitting here finishing off a can of nonalcoholic IPA and winding down for the evening. The day's activities: Mortising a couple of cabinet hinges; reading (getting near the end of George Eliot's Middlemarch); knitting; practicing clarinet; and working on a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle that features Tiamat.)

Mead gives me a headache that might have been delivered by Mjölnir, so I avoid it. Haven't indulged in decades.

How did you chop out the mortises? By hand, or do you have a router, and the required templates?
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Wondering if it's possible to make mead in a tropical climate, I have a source for honey and an interest for recreational purposes only of course.
