"Diesel" the band, the song, "Sausalito Summernight" .... BJ' as the character goes, lived in Mill Valley, but he did his residency, as the script goes south of Mill Valley in Sausalito just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. "Sausalito" is the city/town name that both BJ's character and the "one hit wonder" had in common, even though the two were not related.

You got stuck on "Mill Valley" when I was asking where he actually worked. Which is why I pointed out that people commute to work.

No, I asked for both. Go back and read my original post. I was looking for the overlap between where  BJ did his residency, and the city/town that made up the partial title of my favorite song.

Take all my posts in context, instead of cherry picking. I asked for BOTH the Character  BJ and the SONG that the city name had in common without implying that there was any connection between the band or show.

TRUTH, Diesel had a "One hit wonder" called "Sausalito Summernight", TRUTH, The character of MASH called "BJ" did his residency in Sausalito as the script goes.

Nobody answered "Sausalito Summernight" until I made it obvious.
