The funny thing is God and science are 100% compatible.   I've never understood the claim that God is somehow antithetical to science.
God is simply too far advanced and complex to be understood by man.

Yes, I understand. I just have a tic about religious things. I feel annoyed when someone demands evidence for something that they should not be demanding evidence for.

Yes I do get it. Your belief is limited to a mental construct. And that's fine.

But why is your god belief correct and not any other superpower that can be imagined. Does Zeus exist, or Vishnu, or Superman, or.............?

It's not like there's anything wrong with demanding (or requiring) evidence before one believes things, though.

If I made the claim that leprechauns gave me magical powers, you'd be in your full rights to say "Oh yeah? Prove it."

All brewer is saying is that nothing has convinced him of proof of God. When you assert God's existence, his reply is: "Oh yeah? Prove it."

You can't prove it, and he remains unconvinced. If you can make peace with that, you'll be fine. If you insist he holds out belief anyway, you'll be disappointed.

If the only reason you're here (an atheist forum) is to talk about your god belief then you're pretty much asking to be annoyed. If your here looking for validation of your belief I think you've made a poor choice. I suggest you hang out with other believers.
