A person's afterlife depends on how they acted in life. When you die, and you soul meets God face to face, God immediately sends you to your own dimension, and the quality of that dimension depends on how you spent your time in life, including how you treated people. Your dimension (non-personal "your") could be a hellish one, but even if it was, there wouldn't be any suffering there, and there wouldn't be suffering in any other dimension either.
