Fox news viewership demonstrates that your opinion, here, is false. It's viewers not only want to be angry, they cherish that anger and identify themselves by it. In fact, if fox fails to satisfy that consumer demand, now, viewers defect to other outlets in a zero sum game of shuffling around everyone's racist uncle and crazy nana.
To say that they lost control of the shitshow they created is to put it mildly. They got into this to sell ad slots and be political gatekeepers. They argue in court that they bear no responsibility for their actions consequences because no rational person would believe the shit they see on their own network.

If you want to argue that fox news staying relevant to the wingnut political grift complex, while fox viewers die...is a good thing..or that some silly god will Deal With Them™ for doing it...then save your breath arguing that they aren't doing it.
Maybe he should get around to that before more people swallow horse paste? What kind of shit god waits until the murderer has killed every victim he cares to?
