Facebook post about The Field of Dreams site that is being stripped of all it's original intent and turned into some massive bit of marketing just posted introducing the 'expert' that was hired in 1988 to help them grow corn.
That movie site is right outside of my hometown...people have been growing corn there since the damn area was settled. WTF did they suddenly need an expert for?
FFS.
My somewhat snarky comment led to them explaining it had to be special corn. Movie corn, I suppose...magic corn.
