I don’t know that there’s any correlation between long memories and poor taste, but this seems indicative.

Does this mean that there will be "Mamma Mia 3" movie with songs from the new album?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Honestly being a huge ABBA fan, I don't know why this sudden reunion is taking place. I can only speculate that one or a couple of the band members are in financial problems, and maybe the gang decided to help them out.

But back in the early 80s when they broke up, I think they got it right. All the members agreed that their time had passed and they didn't want to overstay their welcome.

Or, it could also be that, outside financial issues, they are still doing great, and decided to parley the success.

I don't know. But I do know I love my avatar and it ticks everyone off.

Your speculation is wrong. A simple Google shows that the members of the group have individual net worths of between $120 million and $300 million, so it’s not the money.

I suspect it’s either 1) desperation to show that they can still be relevant, or 2) a public service to introduce young people to truly horrible music (Miley Cyrus can’t do everything).
