"Matt, if you exist God exists. Never thought I would see the day that I would see those blaspheme. Though the serpent of knowledge does exist. For then so does God. For these things was predicted. For it is in your power to root some up." (Posted on YouTube in a discussion on whether or not God exists.)

I was talking about you,” Greene wrote. “The Catholic Church must throw out these monsters instead of lecturing the people its own bishops have driven away. I refuse to use kinder, gentler language as Bill Donohue might prefer when I talk about his disgusting and corrupt friends, who have made him rich with the donations from ordinary churchgoing Catholics.” Another volley from Bill Quote:“The time has come for her to be either reprimanded or censured,” Donohue wrote. “Her irresponsible behavior has already caused her to be removed from committee assignments. Accordingly, her burst of anti-Catholicism now demands stronger sanctions against her.” https://religionnews.com/2022/04/28/marj...ops-satan/
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and while driving down 19th St. SE near my home, I saw a bump sticker that said, "Just because no one believes in it does not make it not true." The sticker was clearly pro-religious.
I've always thought, "God loves you!" is the most stupid thing I consistently hear.
You haven't read the bible, have you? Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Basically every day now someone on Fox News is calling for the complete destruction of public education
It's because (secular) education distances kids from Jesus.

Yup, the government is using public schools to teach kids that its a diverse country, and people should get along.
That is anathema to Christian Dominionists.
