Borris is clearly an idiot, but I can't think of anyone better to replace him, probably a case of finding the least bad person to do the job

After the Brexit debacle, the UK needs social democrats more that ever. Stop electing Tories.

In the UK, political parties select their leaders via an in-party voting scheme. Johnson won and, as leader of the largest party in Parliament, he got to be Prime Minister. Selection of party leaders involves a lot of back room negotiations and handshake deals.

At work

Thought I was listening to an episode of the Goons or the Goodies.

Fellow should know the right place for humour or at least get a better sense for it.

Unfortunately at the moment the choices are tory, tory pretending to help poor people and pro-EU tory. That is essentially where the three big parties are at now.

Plus the only social democrat option refuses to run outside of Scotland.

For the vast majority of session time the commons is pretty much empty. The only time it's full is when there's an important vote, prime minster's questions (both of these because of TV cameras) and the Queen's speech (because MP's are forced to attend).
