Ted Cruz says he wants to abolish the IRS
The IRS, which collects taxes and enforces federal tax laws, is a frequent target of the GOP.

Seeing this news I think I finally see the GOP's big plan or what they want.
Saying something so brazen it is obvious that Republican politicians don't want people's money because they are being paid by someone else, and who could that be but corporations. Their idea is to let the corporations pick the politicians, and thus rule over the country. Not to mention that there is this idea being pushed of a "genius CEO" who will fix the US with his financial savviness.
Someone needs to pay for the politicians and that can only be people. You can go full aristocracy mode and let corporations pay them and rule them, but it will again go back to the people who will foot the bill because, without the buffer zone between people and corporations, people will be more exploited and even become slaves.
And that is something that corporations want: slaves. They hate paying workers a living wage, not to mention health care, and they also hate all sorts of other regulations, like the ones that don't let them sip poison from the factories on people working for them. And politicians like to be paid by corporations because they pay more, so people are just in a way.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
