What are some things that you strongly wish were common knowledge?

RE: What are some things that you strongly wish were common knowledge?
I wish "personal nutrition" were common knowledge and taught in elementary/middle school. I fear that America's obesity epidemic could be solved by teaching children the serious health risks of improper nutrition. That is the reason I wish "personal nutrition" could become common knowledge. (so more people could enjoy good health for more of their lives)
Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yes, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards to children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel. 🙏

I have an absolute crap diet and weigh about 120 lbs. Nutrition isn't the only answer when it comes to things like a person's weight.

By "personal nutrition," do you mean a dietary regimen or something else?  We can never be sure when unnecessary quotation marks are used.

I wish the Mountain Meadows Massacre was common knowledge and taught alongside "personal nutrition," which is probably code for "go murder those weary travelers."

Here’s a few to start with:
1) As far as guys go, foot fetishists are pretty harmless.
2) Instead of just listing DC Resistance for guitar pickups (something that’s simultaneously nigh-on universal for pickup manufacturers and remarkably useless in telling you what a pickup sounds like), pickup makers should also list inductance and resonant frequency (with 470pF capacitors to simulate the length of the average cable).
3) Guitar speaker sensitivity is as critical (if not more so) in knowing how loud an amp can be as wattage.
4) Honestly, I could sum up a lot of things with “anyone with the slightest interest in the building blocks of guitar tone needs to subscribe to Jim Lill yesterday.”
5) Even in the age of streaming, physical media is still important. They can take Uncut Gems from Netflix and move it onto some other service you’re not subscribed to, but they can’t take away your Blu-Ray.

I study linguistics a lot and personal nutrition is a compound word. There are a few different options that a linguist has in their toolkit to convey meaning to one another online. I chose quotation marks since I'm used to them (because I use them a lot) but I could have conveyed the information in perhaps a better way. That's why there's the saying: hindsight is 20/20!

‘Personal nutrition’ is not a compound word. Study harder.

Good lord, we have another linguist...who really isn't all that good at being a linguist. Just what we needed. Perhaps he can weigh in on sesame seeds and heart health too.

I didn't realize linguists convey meaning differently from ordinary folk. Learn something new every day, they say.

From my experience as a historian, hindsight is 50/50.
