Just look at my username. That's one anime I used to watch as a kid. Also, another one I fondly remember watching: Captain Tsubasa (soccer anime). And yes, have seen Dragon Ball Z/GT as well (both Funimation and original Japanese, have not seen the HG dub). Good stuff.

IMHO the original Astroboy series has aged very well. Speed racer...not so much.

In speed racers' defense, the animators had a shoestring budget to work with while Osamu Tezuka was already an established artist so was given a heck of a lot more in that regard.
