That was the fox news line about tuck tuck I'm afraid, Bel.  MSNBCS line, that a judge agreed with and for which OAN had to pay 250k..was that maddow offers opinions which reasonable viewers should recognize to be her opinions.  Starting to look like you don't believe you have any obligation to tell the truth, though.  I guess it's hard, when the truth doesn't tell the story you want to, eh?

As for OAN, I don't think they set out to be russian propaganda, it just happened as a consequence of intersectionality.  A shame, since it ruined their business.  Trump, meanwhile, still doing fine.  Retweeting calls to revolution and rahowa on knockoff twitter of late.   Still professing his enduring trust of vlad putin and hatred for the us.  If he's not compromised (LOL) ..well..then it's just who he is, eh?

Quote:Here's an older article about several instances of Russia getting blamed for things they didn't do.
Russia did not invade Ukraine?  Huh

Quote:Again, when people are conditioned to see a Putin under every bed, they may be careless when assigning blame.
Putin is not to be blamed for Putin invading Ukraine?  Huh

But that's just the coverup thump! We all know that hitlery killington conspired with vladimir putin to steal the election from herself and hand it to trump.

That doesn't seem to bother you when you cite Tucker Carlson. Why the double-standard?

Quote:The end of the long inquiry into whether Donald Trump was colluding with Russia came in July 2019, when Robert Mueller III, the special counsel, took seven, sometimes painful, hours to essentially say no.

This is a misstatement of Mueller's conclusion vis collusion. What Mueller actually testified as to his conclusions:

Quote:Former special counsel Robert Mueller pushed back against U.S. President Donald Trump’s characterizations of his 22-month investigation, telling lawmakers on Wednesday that he did not evaluate “collusion” with the Russian government, and confirming that his report did not conclude that there was “no obstruction” of the probe.

“The president was not exculpated for the acts that he allegedly committed,” Mueller told the House judiciary committee, adding that Trump could theoretically be indicted after he leaves office.

“We did not address ‘collusion,’ which is not a legal term,” Mueller added. “Rather, we focused on whether the evidence was sufficient to charge any member of the campaign with taking part in a criminal conspiracy. It was not.”

I wonder why they'd make such an obvious misrepresentation regarding something of such wide public knowledge. I also wonder why you don't seem to vet your own sources very stringently.

Because that's where Hoffa's body is buried.

Because then Jimmy Hoffa's body could be discovered.

Barr explained it in his own words when asked the same question.  History is written by the victor. They'll keep saying it and one day, if they're lucky, no one will be around to say otherwise. Then it becomes the settled history that the nuts are already asserting it to be.
